The book I'm reading is titled Memories of Anne Frank. The book is not just about Anne Frank. It has many different stories of other people who had the same problem in their childhood or life. This book was put together by a friend of Anne Frank. She was given permission from Frank to write this book of her life. She had Anne Frank diary to use for resources.
Summary:
Anne and Hannah were two ordinary girls. They were friends. Anne has been from home to home. Her step father and step mother ask her what happen to her mother and father but Anne doesn't say a word. Anne died just before her sixteen birthday. Anne and her family was hidden because of the Germans. When the war was attempted. She was determined to stay out of sight.
Hannah Goslar the age of thirteen was fun-loving but also very religious. she went to Hebrew school. Anne and Hannah were best friends but their relationship was getting hard because of the war between the Jews and Germans. Also being thirteen is harder then two little kids sitting next to each other at lunch.
Questions:
1. Why doesn't Anne like to talk about her birth parents?
2. Did Hannah and Anne relationship get better?
Prediction:
I believe that Anne is going to talk about her parents to her step parents in the future because it says she wants to tell them but then again she doesn't. I also think that Anne will run into other kids that been separated from their parents and family too.
Reaction:
When Anne Frank had to hide from the Germans I felt scared for her. It was a moment of silent inside the book for me. Also when i read and it said she died at the age of 16. I thought of being in her spot and I was like wow.
How did Anne die and why did she die right before her birthday who killed her?
