Summary:

In the book i am reading Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli. It is abouta boy called Jeffery lionel Magee. He becomes a orphan when his parents die just when he was 3 years old. From Bridgeport to Holidaysburg, Pennsylvania he runs. Ever since maniac ran from home he became a legend, they even say he was born on a dump!

Questions: why do they think maniac was born in a dump?

I have finally finished the book and its ending was great! The two twin towers got knocked down and police chiefs were looking for people who were around at the accident and they asked for their IDs so then they showed the and Abba got arrested again. Eventually he got out off jail again. But after that he got to go back with Nadira and her sister Aisha. Then they leave to go get mama. At the very end Aisha gets accepted to college and the family is back together again. They really did get to become American US citizens. They will no longer not exist they are part of this world and the family is back together again.

Will there be a second book about this?

Will I read this book ever again?

3) Connection.

At the end when the family was relived it reminded me when Me and my mom finally got to California and we were relived and made a big (SIGH)

Twin towers when i heard that the feeling i got when i watched the video i got the same feelings when i read the part in the book about the twin towers knocking down.

When Sam and his friends tried to steal a frosty from a big spanish person. when they where just about to get out they felt a big hand on there shoulders and they saw the big spanish person. the spanish person dragged them to the back where they saw to big dog. the spanish do said that he was going to seed them to the dogs because they where hungry. he called one of them guys to open the cage. when the kid opened it he took the dogs near the to kids. when the dogs where up in there face the spanish person let them go.

Would you try to steal from a big spanish do on a hot day?

The last time i tried to steal something i got hit by my mom and i got threaten that my hand will be chopped off. when i herd about that i freaked and i swore to not to steal from any body. but i did it again but my mom didn't catch my it was my dad witch was whores. i got hit every time my dad saw me.

zen and the art of faking it

The main character in the book is a young boy named zen. He is the new kid in school and all he wishes is to fit in. Now zen has transfered to many schools just since kindergarten. And being the only asian in school, yah its not gonna be the best time of his life. so, to continue zen has picked a new identity to hold at every school he transfered to. But his only problem is what identity to choose!

So, throughout the book he is thinking about what identity to choose and what identities he's already covered. He's covered emo,prep,goth,western ect. And this time he chose SUPER ASIAN!

But, with this identity, things are not looking good for him. Trust me!

QUESTIONS: Will he get caught for what he really is? Why is he scared to be seen with his mom? Will the super asian identity work?

CONNECTION: My connection with the book is going to a new school. When i came to isaac i didn't no that many people. But overtime like zen i met everyone in the school. Now i cant imagine my life without everyone iv met in isaac.

REACTION: My reaction of the book is that its a total 10 out of 10. Its funny Cool and unlike any other book iv ever read. Also for me to love a book is odd because i hate books. But now, i kind of like them.

Adeline Yen Mah I finish my book! i don't want to give you the ending so, instead I will say that sadly she was orphan. yes that's mess up i know. The woman above is Adeline now.

she wrote the book. i think she is strong to talk about her past.

my reaction was that she is a strong girl when she was left. i cant imagine to have to stay their in the orphaned.

i think that she will never want to remember this cuz i wouldn't.

Whipped in Shame

Now that i have read charters 10-20 something joyful. She has found a friend that walks with her though she was rich and can have Someone to drive her.I think that's very nice of her to do that for Adeline. Chun-Mei was her name and she plays with Adeline. Then, PLT (Precious Little Treasure) came along. Though you wonder who is PLT well she is a duckling that Mr. and Mrs. Huang gave Adeline. Adeline loves PLT.
Big sister gets marry! By the way i never thought that she would because she is curl to her sister Adeline. She was getting marry to the doctor Dr. Sung's son. He was much older then big sister. Adeline said that she wouldn't marry someone that is older then her. i would agree with her because want to enjoy life before i have to stay with one man. When the gift for big sister came in Niang took the best one for her. And if you don't know who Niang is she is the step mother. Then after their wedding they went on their honeymoon.

Her friend wants Adeline to go to her b-day party. And by the way her duck PLT died.Adeline knew that she can't go. So, she sneaked in to her party.Adeline went home so they think she was home and not to a party.When she got their Niang slapped her for not answering her question. The question was were did she get the money. She thought that poor Adeline has stole money from her but, that's was not it she got it from Aunt Baba.Adeline had to say it. Niang was mad cuz she and father had told her not to give her money. Then her Friend got worry and called her home to see when will she be back. Guessed who answered Niang. She was real mean to her after what she heard. She told her she doesn't belong in that house any more and that she was to stay in her room with nothing to eat till her dad came home. That will take hours till he comes home. When he did came home she was whipped. which I think he should of talk to her and ask and not take it on her. He said that Aunt Baba was bad and that she soils her to much. Ye Ye doesn't want Adeline to be like the rest of them. mostly big sister.
I think i gave to much Info so i think you should read it if you liked this summary from above that i talked about.

My reaction when father whipped Adeline was that why such thing. Why can't he talk it over or someone said something. I was in anger cuz really someone that no ones cares about shouldn't be bother that much. They don't care so why do they have the right to do that. leave her alone she never was cared. Maybe that's the reason she acted that why. I can feel it in side though i have never been whipped. It's hard to talk about what you thought about it.

Q1: why didn't ye ye want Adeline to be like big sister.

Q2: why didn't Adeline didn't ask why doesn't go to places.
